Welcome! This is the website of the EURECA (Enhancing University Research and Entrepreneurial Capacity) Program at the St. Petersburg National Research University of Information Technologies, Mechanics, and Optics (ITMO).

As part of the EURECA II Program, University ITMO is working to cultivate and introduce technologies to promote the economic development of Russian regions that exhibit scientific and industrial potential in various spheres. ITMO strives to achieve this goal through the activation of innovative and technical entrepreneurship and the organization of effective cooperation among leading regional universities and different subjects of the innovative ecosystem. From 2013-2016, ITMO will implement the second phase of the EURECA Program in partnership with the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) and the National Research University Higher School of Economics. In 2013, the Republic of Mordovia and the Samara Oblast became official pilot regions of the program.
